Job Responsibilities

We are looking for part-time telephone interviewers for SCB in Örebro. The tasks consist of conducting telephone interviews with individuals selected in the Party Sympathy Survey. This survey asks, among other things, how one would vote if there were an election at the time of questioning and measures, among other things, party sympathies in real-time as well as how one voted in the last parliamentary election.

You will work on-site at SCB's premises, and the work is primarily scheduled for evenings, from 5 PM to 9 PM, but other times may also occur, such as 9 AM to 3 PM and 3 PM to 9 PM. The most common working days are Monday through Thursday, but weekend work may also be relevant.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a communicative and adaptable person, who does not shy away from challenges and can handle rejections under time pressure. You are quality-conscious, structured, and meticulous with a detective-like ability to analyze information and strategically determine the next step. Your ability to maintain focus and prepare for interviews even during longer waiting times is crucial. As a responsible and self-driven individual, you accept and apply feedback directly and understand the importance of following established methods without objections. Your curiosity drives you to continuously learn and improve within SCB's surveys, routines, and skills. You are aware of the importance of selectively choosing candidates for information meetings to streamline both your and SCB's time with a particular focus on assessing potential participants' availability and engagement to minimize the risk of dropouts.

To be eligible for the position, the following is required:

• High school diploma as the minimum educational level.

• At least one year of documented work experience.

• Good computer skills.

• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form.

• Good communication skills.

• Availability for at least 3 weekday shifts per week.

• Full attendance during a paid two-day introductory training on-site at SCB's premises in Örebro. The training will take place on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, respectively, and is mandatory in its entirety and constitutes a requirement to start working.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in interview work.

• Previous experience in interpersonal professions such as care and education or service and retail, to name a few examples.

• Higher availability will be considered in the recruitment process.
